CIRCLE

Your Circle matter!

Your circle determines how far you go. In a circle, everyone is the first. There is no permanent spot for anyone in a circle. Anything is possible .

Biblical clue: Luke 13:30 And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.

Categorically, there are three known circles in a man’s life and at each point we’ve been influenced by them and they include the good, the bad and the ugly.

The way you act and behave is as a result of the people you have as your friends. Peers are the most to influence us. Ask Amnon.

Biblical clue: 2 Samuel 13:1-end

2 Samuel 13:3 But Amnon had a very crafty friend—his cousin Jonadab. He was the son of David’s brother Shimea.

2 Samuel 13:4 One day Jonadab said to Amnon, “What’s the trouble? Why should the son of a king look so dejected morning after morning?”So Amnon told him, “I am in love with Tamar, my brother Absalom’s sister.”

One wrong conversation with the wrong person can be the end of you. Reading through 2 Samuel 13, one discussion with Jonadab caused Amnon his life.

Biblical clue: Luke 5:37-38 And no man putteth new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish. [38] But new wine must be put into new bottles; and both are preserved.

At some point in life, you must take harsh decisions and stand firm with it. There are people in your life that you know honestly contributes nothing positive to your life, cut them off! It’s harsh I know, it’s cruel even but it’s necessary if you must grow, every chaff must be sieved out.

Check your circle

Think about it, if you stand before your maker, what account would you give? Is that person worth losing your eternity to? You may be among the class that say there’s no God! I bring you a good news! There’s God and he’s interested in you. He has not made investments in you for you to live the way you feel like.

You are the chosen of God

Though it may tarry, but as the word of the lord declares; “At the right time, I, the lord, will make it happen.” Isaiah 60:22

You can’t keep patching a torn cloth expecting it not to wear out. Stop making excuses for them, let’s face the truth: in this Christian journey, they can only draw you back. Hang out with them a little and you’ll see your life loose values.

Let’s narrow down this circle to the friends we keep; You have Mr C as someone who always comes around when you’ve got money and help you spend it, hyping you all along the way as you waste money on women and alcohol. You know this guy ain’t good for you, why exactly do you keep him close?

Check it, you weren’t smoking before that friend came into your life, you don’t hang out with drug addicts and friends who go out with married men until that friend and convinced you that’s the ‘in-thing’. The list can go way taller than this but I’m sure you’ve got the point.

1 Corinthians 15:33 Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.

For each level in your life, to be healthy in Spirit, soul and body, you must consciously be aware of what you take in(information, conversations, engagements),

who you hang out with (friends, associates). Don’t be surprised if you find the bad guys in the church, the one that says stealing part of the church money is nothing, Our savior Jesus said in the gospel

Matthew 7:15-16 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Are you struggling to break out from an addiction, or a circle of any sort? Help is here.

I want to share this great news with you

1Timothy2:5-6

that there’s one God and only one, and one Priest-Mediator between God and us—Jesus,

who offered himself in exchange for everyone held captive by sin, to set them all free. Eventually the news is going to get out.

Jesus nailed whatever you’re struggling with on the cross when he died for you.

Receive him today: If you want to receive Jesus today as your Lord and personal savior, say this prayer with me;

Lord Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner. I believe that you came to the world and you died for me. I accept you this this day to be my lawfully wedded husband, my Lord and personal savior, cleanse my heart from all unrighteousness. In Jesus name, Amen.
